About Brewster
Meet Brewster, also known as Punky Brewster. If you’re searching for a loyal companion with captivating looks, Brewster could be your guy. This striking one-year-old red and white Australian Shepherd and Border Collie mix is unforgettable, especially with his piercing blue eye and soulful expression. Yet, what makes Brewster truly special is his gentle spirit, which shines through once he learns to trust you. Brewster’s journey hasn’t been easy. After his elderly owner passed away, he bounced around between family members before eventually ending up in a busy shelter. For a sensitive soul like him, that environment was overwhelming. Thankfully, Herding Haven rescued him, offering him a chance to settle down and relearn that there is kindness in the world. Initially, Brewster needs some time to warm up to new faces, but with a little patience, you’ll find a devoted friend eager to be by your side. He’s housebroken, crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. He gets along well with both dogs and cats, but he would prefer a quieter home without small children so he can truly thrive. Brewster is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to embrace his new beginning. His past may have been rocky, but Brewster is ready to move forward with someone who appreciates his gentle nature. He’s currently in foster care in NE Indiana. If you’re ready to see the amazing dog beneath his shyness, reach out to meet Brewster today!
