Boris is a friendly and enthusiastic fellow who tackles life with a spirited attitude, even if his back legs sometimes have different ideas. An old hind-end injury has given him a unique bunny-hop style for moving around, and while he can lose his balance easily, Boris refuses to take it slow. With his daily Carprofen, he enjoys pleasant walks, stopping to sniff every intriguing scent along the way. While he can manage gentle stairs now, his future family should be ready to assist him with a sling as he ages. When he’s not exploring, Boris loves seeking affection and snacks. He expects your hands to be busy with scritches and won’t hesitate to roll over to demand belly rubs if you stop. Treats bring him pure joy, making him bounce with excitement at the mere sight of food. This social guy has passed his dog test and made friends with other dogs, as well as cats—though a dog-savvy cat would be ideal to withstand his boisterous spirit. Currently on a limited-ingredient diet to keep his skin in good shape, he seeks a loving family ready to spoil him with care while enjoying the joys he brings.
