About Jack
Jack is a charming 8-year-old neutered Border Collie ready for adoption! He was fostered for several months before spending the last five years with his family, but unfortunately, they weren't able to adhere to the training guidelines provided. Now, after spending time with a trainer, Jack has learned to engage and disengage with his surroundings effectively. Jack thrives best with someone experienced in Border Collies who can continue his training without starting from scratch. He’s a dog that needs mental stimulation but is not overly high-energy, enjoying activities like tricks and fetch. Although he can relax in the home, Jack should not be placed with cats, and while he can manage with other dogs, it will require additional work on your part. He also cannot live with chickens, livestock, small dogs, or small children. Jack is both crate and house trained, with a good off switch, meaning he can chill out when needed.
