About Brighton

Brighton is a remarkable little guy in foster care in Norwalk, CT. This approximately 2-year-old Maltese mix weighs about 11 lbs. He came to the local animal shelter with serious injuries, resulting in the amputation of his front leg. Despite this, Brighton has adapted beautifully to life as a tripod and moves around with confidence, even hopping into cars and onto couches. He's incredibly affectionate and enjoys being close to his foster, often sitting on her lap and snuggling up at night. Brighton gets along well with other dogs and tends to ignore the resident cats. While he's house trained and does well on a leash, he thrives in a calm environment, ideally suited for experienced dog owners without young children. With a sweet demeanor and gentle nature, he’s ready for a loving home where he can receive plenty of TLC. There’s no adoption fee, but transportation is included.
