Meet Oscar, a loyal little shadow looking for his forever person. His world changed overnight when the only person he loved was taken away, leaving him heartbroken and waiting for her return. For eight years, he was by his mommy's side, but when she was hospitalized, Oscar had to rely on kind strangers who looked after him. Eventually, he was brought into the care of Music City Animal Rescue. At first, Oscar was confused and sad, searching for the home and love he once knew. With patience, he started to feel safe and showed his sweet personality. Now, he loves nothing more than to be close to his person, curling up next to you on the couch or sleeping beside you at night. Oscar enjoys car rides and will be your faithful companion wherever you go. This little guy thinks he’s a small furry best friend rather than just a dog. He has a playful side, too, entertaining himself with toys and happily returning them… when he feels like sharing. Oscar is friendly towards people and good with other dogs. He walks nicely on a leash and thrives in a home where someone is around often. Oscar has one habit you should understand: he’s a door darter, eager to escape through open doors. His family will need to be vigilant about secure entrances and always ensure he’s leashed outside. With time and care, Oscar will learn to relax in a loving environment.
