Brett is a sweet male Shih Tzu mix, approximately 2 years old, and small in size. He's currently in Washington, DC, and weighs around 8.9 lbs. Brett's coat is longer and requires regular grooming. He has been spayed and is up to date on vaccinations. Although he has not yet been house trained, he is working on crate training under the care of the Lucky Dog Animal Rescue.

About Brett

Meet Brett, a charming 2-year-old Shih Tzu mix looking for his forever home. At about 8.9 lbs, this small floof is ready to embark on a journey of love and exploration with his humans. He enjoys sniffy walks and is always eager to explore the world by your side. With his long coat, he needs daily brushing and regular grooming to keep him comfortable and mat-free. Brett gets along with other dogs, making him a great addition to a multi-pet household. We haven’t observed how he interacts with cats or kids, but we’re open to discussing integration methods with interested adopters. Currently, he’s in a South Carolina shelter but is hoping to find a foster or permanent home in the DC area. Most importantly, Brett is eager to love and be loved, to find his spot where he belongs.
