About Buck
Buck is on the lookout for a patient family eager to show him how wonderful life can truly be. Rescued alongside his litter after their owner could no longer care for them, this sweet and gentle baby is still learning to navigate the world but has already begun to show his true colors. Initially shy around new people and situations, Buck’s personality shines with a little time and kindness. He ideally needs a family that will help him build confidence through training and celebrate his small victories. Having other dogs around really helps Buck feel at ease. He enjoys their company and takes cues from them, making it a plus to have a confident resident dog in his new home. While he settles down well after some moderate exercise, he needs guidance on building confidence during walks. Since arriving at Helping Hounds, he has made remarkable progress, but he will need time to adjust in a new environment. If you can open your heart to this shy pup who simply needs someone to believe in him, Buck is ready to embark on this journey with you. Witnessing his growth and learning to trust will be an incredibly rewarding experience. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
