About Chanterelle

Chanterelle has made remarkable progress in just a few weeks. When she first arrived, her body showed signs of having just had a litter, but now she’s almost back to normal. Unfortunately, we don’t know the whereabouts of her puppies. Chanterelle is still quite young and possesses a playful spirit, always looking to snag a treat or two. She’s ready to embrace a life filled with love and attention, just as she deserves. Chanterelle is not yet housetrained and needs a patient adopter who can guide her in this area. She will be spayed and vaccinated before adoption, and potential adopters are encouraged to meet all household members, especially children, before bringing her home. Chicago Animal Care and Control is open daily from noon to 7 PM, located at 2741 S. Western Ave., Chicago, IL. If you’re interested in a meet and greet, please remember to bring proof of vaccination for any existing dogs in your home. Ready to make a difference in Chanterelle's life?
