Though specifics about her coat are currently unavailable, she's transitioning back to her gorgeous fluffy self after some grooming.

Meet Morteeni. At 8 and a half years old, she’s hoping for a fresh start after being returned to our rescue. Initially shy and cautious, Morteeni is a gentle soul who just needs someone willing to earn her trust. Having been declawed—something we don’t support in our adoption process—has made her feel a bit vulnerable. This has resulted in a hand-shy demeanor, and she can be easily overstimulated, which is understandable. Morteeni is rocking a cute lion cut after some painful mats were removed, but don’t worry, her beautiful fluffy coat will return soon. She’s looking for a quiet, low-traffic home where she can settle in comfortably. While she does get along with other cats, she’s best suited for a household without young children. We’re unsure how she feels about dogs. Morteeni deserves a family that will love her unconditionally, respect her boundaries, and show her that kindness is real.
