About Moxie
Moxie was found peeking into windows at a nursing home in Reading, clearly hoping for someone to help her out. She’s a sweet and beautiful cat, about a year old, who came in skittish around people. When first trapped, she was very wary of touch, hissing but never using her claws or teeth. Over the past several months, she’s made a lot of progress. Though she still tends to cower when first approached, she warms to people who move slowly and give her time. Moxie needs a quiet home and is not cut out for hectic environments or adoption events. She gets along with other cats and would benefit from having a confident feline friend to show her the ropes. Patience is a must—she’ll need time and gentle encouragement to truly settle in. She does have noticeable rapid eye movement, but the vet isn’t concerned, and it doesn’t seem to bother her at all. This cat is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Moxie is in Kenhorst, PA, and only local, in-person adopters will be considered. Ready to fall in love?
