However, once trust is established, he displays a sweet and affectionate nature. He gets along well with other dogs and is best suited for gentle, respectful children who can help him build confidence at his own pace. Cats, however, make him a bit nervous. Surrendered for escaping through open doors, Cooper needs a securely fenced yard and careful door management to keep him safe. He experiences separation anxiety and has had limited training, so a predictable routine is essential for him. BAM will connect his new adopter with a trainer who specializes in building trust to encourage a lasting bond. As a Poodle mix, Cooper will need regular brushing and professional grooming to maintain his coat's health.
