King Julien (called Jules by those who know him well) is a two-year-old Labrador Retriever with a joyful, loving nature and the spirit of a true optimist. While a spinal condition leaves him wobbly on his feet, it hasn't dampened his playful zest for life. Julien greets each day ready to make new memories, always flashing a smile that wins over everyone he meets. He enjoys playtime with non-alpha dogs, loves soaking up affection, and looks forward to hydrotherapy sessions that help keep him strong. Thriving in foster care, Julien attends weekly physical therapy and will need continued check-ins with a specialist in Las Vegas. He’ll do best in a home where someone is around often, given how deeply he bonds with his people and how much he loves their company. While his future may hold some uncertainty, his bright attitude and affectionate heart remain constant. Julien is available locally in the Hurricane, UT area as a foster-to-adopt pet—his therapy is currently supported by BAM, and his future family will be involved in his ongoing care to ensure his comfort and happiness.
