Julien may be a little wobbly on his feet due to a spinal condition, but don't tell him that life is anything less than wonderful. He greets each day with joy, resilience, and an infectious smile that melts hearts instantly. Whether he's trotting alongside his doggy friends, soaking up affection from his people, or making a splash during hydrotherapy at Woof Wellness Center in Santa Clara, Julien embraces life with remarkable courage and happiness. Julien is thriving in foster care and attends weekly physical therapy to help keep him strong and comfortable. He will need continued monitoring with a specialist in Las Vegas, and while no one can predict exactly what the future holds, Julien has every reason to continue living a beautiful, love-filled life with the right family by his side. Julien forms deep bonds with the people he loves and would flourish in a home where someone is around much of the time as he builds confidence being on his own. He's social with other non-alpha dogs, endlessly affectionate, and the kind of companion who makes every ordinary moment feel special. Julien is available LOCALLY ONLY as foster to adopt, meaning we can only accept applications from someone in the Hurricane area (Washington County). BAM will continue supporting Julien's therapy until he's adopted, and we encourage his future family to participate in sessions so they can learn how to help him keep doing his best at home. Once he and his adopter are comfortable with each other, his adoption can be finalized.
