About Sydney
Meet Sydney! This 7-month-old Australian Cattle Dog is bursting with personality and ready for her next adventure. She weighs around 20 lbs now and is expected to reach between 40-55 lbs when fully grown. Sydney is a playful pup who loves to fetch, romp around with her dog friends, and explore her surroundings. She’s goofy and energetic, always up for a game of chase. When she's had her fun, you can find her settling down with a bone for a cozy nap right beside you. This sweet girl greets everyone she meets with enthusiasm, often with a few happy kisses. She thrives in the company of other dogs and would benefit from an active playmate or a family eager to keep up with her playful spirit. Sydney is almost house trained, with just one little accident so far. She's crate trained, walks well on a leash, and knows how to “sit.” Due to her spirited nature, a home with a yard is a better fit than apartment living. She is being fostered in Richmond, VA, is up-to-date on vaccinations, and has been dewormed. Her adoption fee is $375, which covers her age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, and spay procedure when she is old enough. We require all adopters to commit to ongoing training and socialization for responsible ownership. If you think you could be a great fit for Sydney, it's time to apply!
