About Stella
Stella is a 5-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix with a big heart and deep, expressive eyes. She can be timid at first, but once she feels safe, she transforms into a loving companion who delights in cuddles and quiet moments with her people. Stella's past in a stressful, overcrowded home means she needs time and gentle patience to settle into new places, but her loyalty runs deep once trust is built. At the rescue, Stella enjoys romping around the Bark Park with Thumper and Oswald. She generally gets along with other dogs, though she benefits from slow, respectful introductions. Stella is spayed and fully vaccinated, so she’s ready for her new life. Keep in mind that Stella has luxating patellas in both hind legs, which means her knees sometimes cause discomfort and may need surgical attention down the line. She has anti-inflammatory medication for flare-ups and still manages to stay energetic and cheerful. If you’re searching for a devoted dog who appreciates gentle kindness and will reward it tenfold, Stella is ready and waiting for her forever person. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
