Auggie is house trained and altered, making him a great companion for those prepared to give him the time and space he needs.

About Auggie

Auggie is a 6-year-old lab mix navigating life after coming from a challenging hoarding situation. My friends at Wayside have helped me build confidence, but I still need a patient adopter who understands that new experiences can make me a bit anxious. I’ll need extra time to adjust to home life and prefer a quiet environment where I can take my time learning. Once you earn my trust, you'll see my affectionate side. I love to hang out with my people, enjoy tasty snacks, and play with all kinds of toys—balls, squeaky toys, you name it! I also enjoy leisurely walks where I can explore and take in the world around me. While I might be a bit vocal when I'm excited, I promise I can be a loyal and loving companion. My ideal home has no other dogs so I can soak up all the attention. Kids aged 10 and older would be best since I am still getting used to new people and sounds. I thrive in a spacious environment rather than an apartment. If you're ready to give me the time it takes to flourish, you'll be rewarded with a sweet buddy. Can't wait to meet you!
