About Leroy

Meet Leroy, a charming little guy in search of his forever home. Rescued as a stray by animal control, Leroy found himself in a shelter where he faced an uncertain future. Luckily, Burlington County Animal Alliance stepped in to help him out. He’s a small, long-legged chihuahua mix, tipping the scales at just under 10 lbs. At around 18 months old, he’s not expected to grow much larger. Leroy can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but once he feels safe, he loves to soak up attention. He's gotten along with most dogs he’s met, though he can be a little assertive with other dominant males. Interestingly, he's shown no interest in cats, even those much bigger than him. Leroy has done great in his crate, keeping it clean and quiet, although he’d prefer to join you as you go about your day. He's still mastering the leash, but you can see his excitement when exploring new places. A fenced yard would be ideal for this little adventurer to safely enjoy his outdoor time. If you’re ready to welcome Leroy into your life, apply now!
