About Beryl
Beryl, fondly known as Bea, has been waiting for her forever home for over a year. She entered rescue as a puppy in 2017 and had a loving home until her owner suddenly passed away. Since March 2025, she has been in her foster home, slowly warming up to new faces and making impressive strides. This spunky senior lady defies her age, showing delight and energy during play sessions in the backyard. Although she prefers to be the only dog in the home, she enjoys the company of nearby dogs and can get along with cats if they keep their distance. While car rides and visits to the vet aren’t her favorites, she surprisingly does well when left alone, making her ideal for a working household. Bea has a lovable, quirky personality. She's independent, with a cat-like demeanor, content to retreat to her personal space most of the day, but she does appreciate attention and snacks from her humans. Keep toilet paper and snacks secured; she has a knack for counter surfing and finding trouble! This spirited girl is fully vaccinated, altered, and house trained, with plenty of love to give to the right family. Could you be the one she’s been waiting for? Bea is currently located in Nashville, TN but is ready to travel for her perfect match. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
