About Fancy
Fancy is a darling puppy girl who traveled all the way from southern Virginia to find her forever home. At 7.5 months old, this adorable German Shepherd Dog and Redbone Coonhound mix is full of energy and affection. Currently weighing around 40 pounds, sheโs expected to grow to about 55 pounds. Fancy gets along with other dogs, showing her friendly nature, but a meet and greet is essential before bringing her into a new home. While she would thrive with older, respectful kids, her playful, bouncy personality might be a bit much for toddlers. She has yet to meet a cat, but we believe she is very trainable and can be guided positively. Food motivates her, making her training journey a breeze, especially with treat rewards. Fancy is still learning leash manners and is making great progress, enjoying her walks more every day. As a young pup, she will benefit from structure, patience, and lots of love. Fancy hasnโt known much stability in her early life and is now looking for a caring family to shower her with the affection she craves. With a little consistency, sheโll be house trained in no time.
