About Evangeline
Meet Evangeline, a young German Shepherd mix with a heart of gold. At just six months old, this beautiful girl is still a puppy, bursting with love and energy. She's incredibly gentle and thrives on companionship, whether with her human or another friendly dog. Evangeline walks perfectly on a leash, keeping right by your side and never pulling away. She loves connecting with everyone she meets and is quickly learning to adjust to her new surroundings. Though her past included neglect, she has come a long way since entering foster care, and while she can feel anxious when left alone, she’s made fantastic progress. What once were consistent barks when she was alone have turned into just a few soft "see you soon" sounds. This smart and sensitive girl is eager to please, showing that with the right amount of love and patience, she will become the loyal companion she is destined to be. While she struggles a bit with being left alone, she hasn’t chewed or damaged anything in her foster home. She’s also great during bath time and is indifferent towards cats she encounters. Evangeline is filling out nicely and enjoying regular meals, and her oversized paws suggest she might still grow a little more.
