She needs a patient family who can provide the time and understanding to help her build confidence. A home with another confident dog is essential for Pearl. An existing canine companion will encourage her to come out of her shell and show her that seeking attention and gentle pets is rewarding. The presence of another dog significantly boosts her confidence. Pearl is still mastering her walking skills and needs a securely fenced yard where she can explore and grow at her own pace. Sheโs currently heartworm positive and is under the care of our dedicated staff. Itโs important for her new family to continue her treatment and care after adoption. Our team is ready to discuss what this will involve during your meet and greet to ensure a smooth transition for Pearl. An in-person meet at our shelter is part of the adoption process to ensure a good fit.
