Keanu is a spirited and affectionate 3-year-old Shepherd mix, currently seeking a loving home. This sandy-brown beauty weighs around 60 pounds and has plenty of energy to share. He's a playful companion who adores both snuggling and outdoor adventures, from chasing balls to long hikes. Keanu thrives with plenty of daily exercise and loves to explore, making car rides an added bonus. As a young dog, he still needs guidance with training. Currently, he knows 'sit' and is working on additional commands. While he's about 75% house-trained, he does require close attention to his cues. Keanu can be strong on a leash, especially if squirrels are around, which may mean focused leash training is essential. He’s had positive interactions with dogs of similar size but might do best as the only dog, especially since he can be exuberant at feeding times. A home without small children is also ideal, given his playful and sometimes rowdy nature. Keanu has the potential to be a loyal and loving companion but will need a patient adopter who can set boundaries while helping him feel secure.
