Remington spent the first five years of his life with one family, and now he’s ready to find his forever home after weighing in at a hefty 102 pounds. He's on a journey to reach his ideal weight of around 60 pounds, and his loving foster family is helping him with daily walks and a healthy diet. Remi is incredibly loyal, smart, and cuddly, showing all the best traits of an Aussie. He loves playing with friendly dogs and cats in his foster home and gets along wonderfully with them. He already knows some commands like "sit" and "hug," and he's a well-behaved sweetheart. Although he’s become a bit protective of his food during meals, feeding him separately can easily manage this. Remi adores kids and previously had a special bond with a 16-year-old, making him a fantastic companion for little ones. He deserves a committed family who’ll help him shed those extra pounds while enjoying adventures filled with hikes, playtime, and endless cuddles. His sensitive nature and loving heart will bring so much joy to his future family. Currently in Houston, TX, Remington is available for adoption and can be transported to many areas across the country. His adoption fee is $600, which covers transport.
