About Steve
Meet Steve. He embodies the classic suburban dog vibe—handsome, intelligent, and eager for adventure. However, Steve missed a few key lessons along the way, and our Behavior team is guiding him to learn calmness, patience, and how to communicate effectively without relying too much on his mouth. This clever and driven dog loves training and is already making strides. He requires an experienced owner—someone who enjoys training and can provide the consistency he needs to flourish. He’s not the type to just wing it. Steve has immense potential and a clear path ahead. If you're someone who appreciates a project and knows how to unlock the best in a smart, energetic dog, Steve is waiting to meet you. You can find him at our Northside shelter in Cincinnati, OH, from 1–6pm. Please bring a valid ID to start the adoption process—no pre-application needed. Every pet is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to become part of your family. Click apply to start the adoption process.
