Meet Rufus! This large dog, weighing 56 pounds, is a blend of energy and charm. Rufus walks well on a leash and loves to explore, soaking up all the sights and sounds. He keeps a gentle watch on other dogs and eagerly seeks a few pets from passersby before heading off on his next adventure. Life at the shelter isn’t quite his style, but with a little time, he warms up and easily becomes your devoted walking companion. Every adopted pet, including Rufus, is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to join a new family. You can meet Rufus at our Northside shelter any day from 1 to 6 PM. Just bring a valid ID—there’s no need for pre-application or appointments to adopt. About Us: Cincinnati Animal CARE proudly serves Hamilton County's humane society needs, helping pets find their forever homes. It’s time to give Rufus the home he has been waiting for.
