About Chausie
Meet Chausie! Chausie is a sweet and spunky girl with a playful spirit. She has some reservations about loud noises and chaos, likely due to a past that still lingers in her heart. When things get too noisy, she may cower and try to escape the area, but she surprisingly seems unbothered by lawn mowers. Meals and socks are among her favorites, and you might just catch her stealing a shoe—maybe she's nudging the kids to clean up! Chausie, being the independent girl she is, can be quite particular about when she wants to snuggle versus when she wants to play. Often, she gets the zoomies and is eager for attention. While she greets new people bravely, she still appreciates a gentle approach, as sudden movements can startle her. She's doing well with potty training, though car rides are a work in progress; she doesn't get sick but doesn't seem to enjoy them much either. Playtime is a favorite, and she can be reluctant to come inside or into her kennel. Her defiance can come out as she runs away when playtime ends. However, with some treats and praise, she's learning that the kennel isn’t a scary place. Chausie gets along well with kids of all ages, but it's wise to be cautious with grabby hands—she's making strides in trust and confidence every day. Ready to make a positive change for her?
