Heās learned his leash manners, is crate-trained (though he'd rather be free), and knows all about potty routinesāincluding using the doggy door. Leoās most content when he's closeāsnuggled beside you, pressed against you, or simply within your reach. Heās pretty playful, usually brings back his ball, and shares toys, though sometimes the excitement leads to some overzealous chewing. At about a year and a half old, Leo still has a puppy streak and needs someone willing to work through a little youthful impulsiveness. Heās happiest in a house with a yard and probably not in a small apartment; space helps burn off his energy. Leo gets along best with dogs of similar size and energyālittle dogs might get overwhelmed by his enthusiasm.
