About Goober
Goober, a lovable baby Golden Retriever, is looking for a very special home. Born on April 23, 2026, he was initially diagnosed with severe subaortic stenosis, which means he requires careful management and a calm environment. This big guy will grow to 80 pounds or more and needs a quiet space, free from young children, to ensure he doesn't get overly excited. He’s currently on Atenolol prescribed by a cardiologist and needs to keep calm to avoid labored breathing. Neutering is not an option for him, as it could shorten his lifespan; hence, he cannot be around unaltered female dogs. Goober has a naturally joyful spirit and needs a loving, intuitive caregiver who understands the depth of this special bond. If you think Goober might be the companion for you, be prepared for medical responsibilities and an adoption fee of $450. While his life may be short, the love you’ll share can be immeasurable. Remember, this big fluffy boy has a lot of love to give and can bring joy to your life. Let’s make the most of every moment together!
