About Ween Simmons
Ween Simmons, a brave little mini dachshund, spent a harrowing week on the streets, evading traffic while afraid and alone. At just 6 pounds and 3 years old, he shows signs of a tough past, including visible scars believed to be chemical burns on his back. Now in a loving foster home, Ween is slowly learning to trust again. Initially timid, he warms up quickly and has started to snuggle with his foster. A calm and reassuring household will help him continue to flourish, especially with older children who can respect his boundaries. Having another confident dog around would be a big plus to help him build confidence. Ween is already neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. After surviving so much, he’s ready to find a forever home where he will be cherished and shown what true love feels like. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
