About Liam

Meet Liam! This charming 10-year-old golden Chihuahua has a heart of gold and weighs just 8 lbs. Neutered, vaccinated, and chipped, he's ready for a new home after being surrendered by an owner who could no longer care for him due to a wheelchair-bound situation. Liam spent over a year indoors, but he's adjusting well in foster care and is eager to explore the outside world again. His gentle nature shines through; he's respectful around other dogs, never pushy, and revels in human companionship, always seeking cuddles and lap time. His favorite sleeping spot? Right next to you in bed. Leash walking is a new experience for him, but he enjoys short walks and recently loved a nature trek, happily sliding into a sling pouch when he got tired. He's pad trained and now learning outdoor potty manners. However, he does need dental work, scheduled for August, so any adopter must commit to that follow-up care in Stamford. Liam would thrive in a home where someone is around often, ideally with other friendly dogs or as a solo fur baby. This sweet, shy boy is ready to bring joy to your life!
