About Brighton

Brighton is a remarkable little guy currently in foster care in Norwalk, CT. This approximately 2-year-old, 11 lb Maltese mix has overcome significant challenges; he lost his right front leg due to gunshot wounds but has adapted wonderfully as a tripod. He navigates life with the spirit of a champion, happily hopping into cars and onto couches. Brighton adores his foster parent, shadowing her wherever she goes, and loves curling up on her lap at night. He gets along well with other dogs but prefers a more laid-back lifestyle, often choosing to ignore the resident cats. House trained and confident on a leash, he needs a home filled with tender love and care. Given his history, an experienced dog owner is essential. Note that homes with children under 8 years old will not be considered. The adoption fee of $400 includes transportation and all necessary medical care, including being spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Click apply to start the adoption process.
