About Poppy
Poppy is a charming 12-year-old Chihuahua with a big heart and plenty of character. His current family is moving and wants to find him a warm and loving new home where he can enjoy his golden years. Despite being a senior, Poppy surprises everyone with his lively bursts of speed, happily running around with other small dogs. He loves spending time outdoors, exploring the yard, and soaking up the sun. Poppy can be a little shy with newcomers, but once he feels comfortable, he blossoms into an affectionate companion. He enjoys head scratches, being petted, and simply being near his favorite people. He curls up on the couch during TV time or snoozes in his cozy bed nearby. At night, Poppy prefers to snuggle at the foot of the bed, keeping watch over his family. Although small, he takes his role as a watchdog seriously, alerting you to visitors at the door. Poppy is eager to find a nurturing home where he can share companionship and receive lots of love. In return, he promises to be a loyal and loving friend.
