About Red

Red had a tough start, wandering the streets of a trailer park in search of food and shelter. Thankfully, a compassionate person noticed him and took the initiative to help. Red was later brought into our care, where he was fully vetted, vaccinated, and neutered. We’re thrilled to share that he tested negative for heartworm! Now in a foster home, Red is proving to be a delightful companion. This playful little guy gets along well with both humans and dogs, and he’s tolerant of cats too. He’s not just cute; he’s smart, having quickly learned to do his business outside and walk nicely on a leash. At around 8 to 12 months old and weighing 13 lbs, Red is a Chihuahua mix with a short coat in a beautiful red and chestnut hue.
