Wren is a pocket-sized powerhouse. At just 3 months old, this black and white Lab/Terrier mix may be one of the smallest pups around, but don’t let her size fool you. With the heart of a lion, she brings boundless joy wherever she goes. Whether she's joyfully wrestling with larger pups or cozying up for a cuddle, Wren's delightful personality shines. Endlessly playful and curious, she loves to romp with her foster friends and chase toys. One of her favorite pastimes is trying to catch the tail of another puppy, often resulting in a gentle bop to the nose. Wren has a particular fondness for squeaky toys and sturdy teething items, but she knows when it’s time to wind down. While she may be a bit shy when first meeting new people or dogs, Wren quickly becomes a bundle of affection once she feels comfortable. She loves being held and snuggled, especially by children, as she's had great success bonding with her foster family’s grandkids. Like all young pups, Wren is still perfecting her manners—she's learning not to nibble on hands and redirects to toys easily. Progress is being made in her crate training; she sleeps soundly through the night with her sister. Wren is also grasping the basics of house training and uses puppy pads while working towards understanding outdoor potty time. Her future family should continue this training with patience and consistency. This little girl strikes a beautiful balance between energetic play and lazy cuddles. A couple of play sessions and a brief daily walk will suit her as she grows.
