Bubble Gum and her brother wound up orphaned at a young age, and caring folks stepped in to bottle feed them. She is now looking for a new start in Minneapolis, MN. Friendly and affectionate, Bubble Gum is great with people and very comfortable with other respectful dogs, though she may be reserved initially. Once she settles in, she follows her humans everywhere and asks for neck scratches by resting her head on your lap. She’s fully house and crate trained, preferring to be out of the crate but going in easily when needed. Her curiosity keeps her busy exploring and sniffing around, and she enjoys entertaining herself with toys or watching the world outside the window. She does tend to get mouthy when excited and will alert you with a bark if something grabs her attention, like squirrels or unfamiliar passersby. Bubble Gum doesn’t have separation anxiety and does well solo, though she also thrives with a calm canine companion after a proper introduction. She hasn’t lived with cats and shows a strong prey drive for smaller animals, so a cat-free home is ideal.
