Meet Mondo! At 3 years old and around 45 pounds, Mondo is the perfect pocket pittie. Compact and built like a little tank, he has a face that can make anyone smile. While we don't know much about his past, we do know he deserves every bit of love he’s receiving now. Since he arrived in foster care, Mondo has proven to be an incredible companion. He’s already garnered rave reviews, with one foster saying, “This is the best dog you've ever had.” That sentiment is hard to argue with. Life is simply better with Mondo in it. His sweet and easygoing personality wins people over almost instantly. He loves walks, adores spending time with his humans, and enjoys relaxing and soaking up belly rubs after a day full of adventures. Mondo just wants love, and he gives it all back unconditionally. In the house, Mondo is an absolute gentleman. He’s had no accidents while in foster care and doesn’t chew or get into trouble, so he enjoys free roaming in his area. Mondo gets along wonderfully with dogs, kids, and cats—making him an easy addition to just about any family. His gentle nature shines through with everyone he meets. Food is one of Mondo's favorite things—especially watermelon! His enthusiasm for treats adds another layer to his charm. When he arrived at the Tennessee shelter, he had paint on his coat; the lighter patches you see are just remnants of that paint. Despite whatever happened to bring him there, Mondo remains one of the sweetest dogs ever. Currently, Mondo is enjoying his foster home while he puts on some healthy weight, receiving nutritious meals, probiotics, plenty of walks, and all the affection he can handle.
