Kaciee’s story began when she was found alone and abandoned in the woods. Now in the care of our rescue, she proves every day how resilient and loving she is. This 2-year-old, 52-pound pit bull terrier is not just a joyful spirit; she’s also affectionate, especially toward kids, and brings lively energy wherever she goes. Recently, Kaciee returned from professional training with Liberty K9. She’s made great strides, but her new family will need to reinforce her training and routines. Kaciee enjoys playing with other dogs and thrives in structured playgroups. However, she can get overly excited, particularly when play becomes loud. To ensure she stays comfortable, her family will need to supervise her interactions and help her take breaks before she becomes overstimulated. She requires clear and consistent boundaries to succeed. A structured environment with routines, crate time, and separate feeding areas will help her feel secure. While she is crates trained and house trained, she has not undergone proper testing with cats. Due to her high prey drive, a home without cats would be ideal. Kaciee is not searching for perfection. Instead, she needs a family committed to consistency, continued training, and who will appreciate the happy dog she is. Her journey includes participating in a foster or foster-to-adopt program, along with a training refresher with Liberty K9. Her adoption fee is $400 plus MN tax, which covers her spay, vaccinations, microchip, and any additional medical care she has received.
