Meet Carl! This 4-month-old Shepherd mix, weighing about 20 pounds, is an explorer, goofball, and your future adventure buddy. He thrives on investigation and is currently fostered with his brother. Carl is curious and thoughtful, though he can be a little shy when meeting new people and animals. However, his sweet personality shines through once he feels comfortable. You’ll often find him happily playing with his brother and his five foster siblings. Carl's favorite hobby? Water! He's known to splash about in the water bowl, dig for imaginary treasures, or try to chomp on the garden hose. We have no doubt he'll love pools and lakes as he grows. He's crate trained and sleeps soundly through the night, doing a fantastic job holding it until it's time to go outside. Carl is picking up indoor manners and leash walking quickly, and his intelligence makes him eager to learn more. He gets along wonderfully with children and other dogs, but hasn't met any cats yet. With typical puppy energy, he enjoys playful bursts, follows them up with well-deserved naps, and is always ready for car rides or some fun with a paper towel roll or a Benebone. A securely fenced yard is a must for our adventurous little guy, giving him a safe space to explore and play. Carl is neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and on preventatives.
