About Simba
Simba is a charming young Schnauzer mix looking for his forever home. After facing challenges on the streets of Georgia, he has bounced back thanks to a loving rescue team. They provided a much-needed spa day, and now he's ready to shine in a new family. At about 2 years old and weighing 23 pounds, Simba has a huge heart and an even bigger passion for cuddles. You’ll often find him snuggled up next to you on the couch, or if you’re lucky, right in your lap. He thrives in an environment where someone is home often because he loves being part of the action. Simba is housebroken and a gentleman in his crate. He loves car rides, whether it’s running errands or heading out on an adventure. Simba has a playful spirit and adores other dogs — a canine sibling would be a perfect match for him. While he hasn't met any cats yet, it's still a mystery how he would get along with them. After a rough start, Simba is filled with joy and ready to share smiles and snuggles. He’s hoping for a cozy couch and unlimited belly rubs. Could you be the family he’s been waiting for? Every pet adopted from the Greater Derry Humane Society is spayed or neutered, vaccinated, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
