Originally from New Mexico, he thrives in a quiet environment where he can explore a large fenced yard or join an active owner for long walks. Despite being an energetic dog, he tends to be cautious around new situations and needs time to build trust. Once comfortable, his affectionate and playful nature shines through. He does not get along with other animals, so he would do best as the only dog in the household. Although he is good with children over 10, he requires patience and understanding when meeting new people or environments. Adonis is house trained and responds well to commands through positive reinforcement. With the right owner willing to invest time in building a bond, Adonis promises to be a loyal companion. Adonis comes with a complimentary six-session training package to aid in his transition to a new home. He will need to meet his future adopter three times before going home.
