Milo
AvailableMilo is a young male Labrador Retriever mixed breed dog, known for his large size. While he is not yet altered, he is ready to embrace life once he receives the medical care he requires. Located in Dallas, TX, Milo will surely bring great joy and affection once he heals. He currently awaits the chance for a better life.
About Milo
Milo is a young male dog who needs immediate rescue, foster, or adoption. He has a fractured left femoral head and requires a femoral head ostectomy (FHO) to treat his injury and improve his mobility. This big guy would thrive in a stable environment where he can receive the necessary surgery and follow-up care. With the right treatment and rehabilitation, he can heal and regain comfortable use of his leg. Unfortunately, Milo is currently at risk of euthanasia due to his medical needs and the constraints of the shelter. Sharing Milo's story can help us find someone willing to provide the care he desperately needs. If you can help, reach out to dasadopt@dallas.gov to get connected.
