About Bear
Bear is an energetic and affectionate four-year-old Airedale Terrier weighing about 65 pounds. After being surrendered for being too wild, he’s now in a loving foster home in Ohio. Bear has a big heart and is genuinely sweet with his humans, even though his previous family had some challenges with his exuberance. He knows basic commands and enjoys playing tug of war, but he wasn't formally trained. This means he gets into trouble with counter surfing and can be a master at grabbing anything within reach! His foster parents are working on leash control and addressing excessive barking and pulling when he encounters other dogs during walks. Bear isn't yet tested with dogs in the home since he wasn't very compatible with other pets before. However, he doesn’t get along with cats. He’s also a strong chewer, so durable toys like antlers will be great for him! Bear's also adapting well to grooming routines. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
