Meet Summer, our beautiful 10-year-old girl who's ready to find her forever home. This medium-sized Cairn Terrier is about 43 pounds of pure sweetness. Summer has a delightful personality; she loves being part of the family and enjoys soaking up the sun. Brushing her down is one of her favorite pastimes, showing just how affectionate she is. Though she’s a bit larger than the size we typically rescue at 510 Paws Rescue, her heart is just as big. Summer loves going for walks, playing with other dogs, and is quite happy to cuddle up in soft, fluffy beds. She's currently on a weight loss journey, having lost 2 pounds already! With some gentle exercise and the right food portions, she’s aiming to shed about 10 more pounds. Her friendly nature makes her a wonderful companion for both kids and adults, as she loves those playful moments of chase. Summer also gets along with cats, making her the perfect addition to almost any home. If you're looking for a loyal friend who will truly cherish your affection, she could be the one for you!
