About Bernard
Meet Bernard, or as his friends call him, Bernie! This charming little guy is ready to fetch his way into your heart. At just 6 months old, this neutered terrier mix weighs around 11 pounds and may still have a bit of growing left to do. Found as a stray, Bernie is adapting wonderfully to indoor life and discovering the joys of being part of a family. He’s making solid strides with potty training and gaining confidence every day. His future family should be patient and understanding as he learns that being home alone is okay; he needs reassurance to feel safe and loved. Bernie’s sweet and gentle nature shines through in his affectionate face licks. He’s also a huge fan of playing fetch and loves chasing after his favorite toy before curling up for cuddles. Plus, for those with feline friends, Bernie has been great with cats in his foster home—he has shown no interest in bothering them! If you’re in search of a small, lovable, and playful pup who just needs a little time and plenty of affection, Bernie could be the perfect match for you. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
