At 80 pounds, she is a loveable and energetic adult dog, eager to be part of a family that can provide exercise and companionship. Her friendly nature suggests she would do well with older children, and she gets along with most dogs. With some continued training, she'll blossom into an even more wonderful companion.
About Luna
Luna is a 1.5-year-old, 80-pound "velcro dog" who loves to stick close to her people, happily following them from room to room. This gentle and friendly Shepherd is eager to meet new adults, though her excitement can lead to jumping, which she's learning to control. She shares a joyful connection with her 5-year-old foster brother and generally gets along well with other dogs. However, she's still figuring out how to interact with smaller pups and can be a bit too playful at times. While Luna is working on crate training and building confidence when alone due to some separation anxiety, her house training is excellent—she knows that potty time happens outside. Daily exercise and enrichment are essential for her, as she's a young dog with plenty of energy. A family who enjoys giving her walks and playtime will be a perfect match. Although her previous owner mentioned she did well with cats, she has been known to bark at them in her foster home. Therefore, her compatibility with cats is still being assessed. Luna is a bright learner, already understanding commands in three languages: Dog, Spanish, and now English. She knows "sit" and "come,
