Meet Jake! He’s been in our care for a short while, as we wanted to ensure we understood his needs. At 3 years old and around 70 lbs, he’s got plenty of energy. Jake was found as a stray, discovered tied to a pole and brought to us through some not-so-great circumstances. Despite his simple appearance, don't let that fool you. Jake is highly treat-motivated and loves to learn new things, making him a lot of fun. He’s definitely not a couch potato; Jake craves mental stimulation and regular activity. His love for playing with other dogs is infectious. While he hasn’t been tested with cats, he's likely a bit too boisterous for them, but we can conduct a test if requested. Jake would do best with someone who can set firm boundaries and dedicate time to train him. With the right owner, he’ll thrive and show just how sweet he can be.
