Found abandoned in a home, she was left behind when her owners moved away, and has endured hardships that would break many spirits. Right now, she is recovering from severe emaciation and needs time to heal. What stands out about Mariah is her unwavering love for people. No matter her past, she greets everyone with a gentle heart and a wagging tail, exuding hope and kindness. At around 2 years old, Mariah is still a young soul who has already experienced motherhood far too soon. Though she tested positive for heartworm, her past does not define her future. We are committed to ensuring Mariah is never forgotten again. Our immediate focus is to help her gain weight and strength for her upcoming spay surgery and heartworm treatment.
