About Gus
Meet Gus, a gentle soul looking for his forever family. This sweet, mild-mannered puppy is a bit shy around new faces and situations, making it essential for him to find a patient and understanding home that can help him feel safe and confident. Once he gets comfortable, his affectionate nature shines through, and he becomes a wonderful companion. Gus is fully crate trained and has impressive house-training skills for such a young pup. He’s currently working on his leash training, making steady progress each day. Being a puppy, he's still learning some manners—he might bark at unfamiliar people and loves to chew, so plenty of puppy-safe toys and positive reinforcement will guide him into becoming a well-mannered adult. In his foster home, Gus enjoys the company of three senior dogs. He loves having friends to play with, though his enthusiasm might be a bit overwhelming for older pups, so supervised playtime is advised. He hasn't yet been around children, but his foster is confident he'd do well with respectful kids who understand that he may need some extra time to adapt. Gus has a hearty appetite, is neutered, and up to date on vaccinations. If you're ready to invest a little patience and love, Gus promises to return it tenfold with loyalty and companionship. He's a delightful puppy who just needs the right family to help him thrive. Gus is located in Ladonia, TX, and transport is available as part of the adoption fee. Adoption Fee: $525.
