Lorelai is a lovely 2-year-old Tortoiseshell cat who arrived at the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley on June 8, 2026, after being found wandering near West Street in Belpre, Ohio. Rescued and brought in without a collar or microchip, she has clearly led a sheltered indoor life. When Lorelai first arrived, she was too frightened to leave her carrier and seemed unfamiliar with the outdoors, which makes her sweet and gentle disposition all the more poignant. This striking feline boasts a short coat with a captivating blend of dark brown and orange, complemented by her golden eyes and charming features—a patch of orange above her right eye and a unique splash of orange and beige on her chin. Known for her shyness, Lorelai tends to warm up quickly, responding to gentle touches and quiet reassurances from her caretakers. Having been spayed and up to date on vaccinations, Lorelai weighs 5.14 lbs. This affectionate girl enjoys snuggling beneath blankets and is gradually becoming more socialized.
