Sardine — Playful, Polite, and Full of Calico Charm Meet Sardine, fondly called Dinie or Dinie Girl. This vibrant calico has been winning hearts since her rescue from Fresno in 2020. As a FIP Warrior who has successfully completed her remission, Sardine is thriving and ready for her forever home. Dinie is the total package—playful, affectionate, and remarkably well-mannered. She adores human company, relishing chin scratches, ear rubs, and gentle pets along her back. Sardine is quite the athlete, too. Whether it’s chasing laser pointers, pouncing on strings, or hunting her rabbit fur mice, she finds joy in playtime. A cardboard box with holes sparks her creativity, and she can entertain herself for hours in sneak attack mode. When not in play mode, Sardine enjoys lounging on cozy blankets, bird-watching from the window, or soaking up fresh breezes. She’s an adept mouser, appreciates daily grooming, and calmly accepts her weekly nail trims like the well-behaved lady she is. Her training includes understanding commands like "down," "off," and responding to the snap of fingers signaling “no.” Due to food allergies, Sardine follows a prescription diet, which keeps her happy and healthy. She has specific culinary preferences—show her roasted chicken and she’ll come running. Freeze-dried chicken liver treats are also among her favorites. Sardine seeks a serene adult-only home where she can enjoy being the center of attention. She would thrive best as the only pet, allowing her to feel secure and soak up all the love she deserves.
