About Colby
Meet Colby! This floppy-eared pup is eager to step right into your heart. He loves going on walks but often has his nose to the ground, following interesting scents. Colby came from an out-of-state shelter, so his past remains a bit of a mystery. Since his arrival, he's proven to be a sweet dog with a big heart. During his time in our care, he met another dog and showed more interest in walking alongside rather than playing. If you have a resident dog, bring them for a meet-and-greet at the shelter to check compatibility. Colby is currently heartworm positive. Adopters will need to follow a treatment plan that will be covered by FCAS through Pender Veterinary Centre. He'll also receive a dental voucher for a future appointment that includes blood work, cleaning, and any necessary extractions. Colby is eligible for an Adoption Audition, a five-day trial period that lets you take him home to see if he's the right fit. If this charming pup sounds like the addition your home needs, come meet Colby today! Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
